Introduction

Objectives

After having successfully completed this course, the trainees will be able to:

• State the main objective of specifications for NOTAM.
• Describe information to be promulgated by NOTAM.
• Demonstrate the information not to be promulgated by NOTAM.
• Define the trigger NOTAM.
• Apply the checklist of NOTAM.
• Define the AIP.
• Characterize the Content and format of AIP.
• Demonstrate the Notification of differences in the AIP.
• Draw approach to the AIP AMDT.
• Define the AIP SUP.

• Air Navigation Service providers; Air Traffic Controllers;; Civil Aviation Authorities; Airline Managers and operational staff

• Module 00: Course Introduction
• Module 01: AIS general
• Module 02: AIP
• Module 03: NOTAM

Prerequisite

The course require the participant to have at least.

• Basic ATC or AIS or have an experience of not less than 10 years in AIS field.
• Engineers, Planners, Operational and Technical Personnel from Civil Aviation Authorities,
• Airport Authorities/Operators and Government or Private Agencies responsible for AIS of Aerodromes.
