Introduction

Objectives

  • Provide the participants with theoretical and practical knowledge of heliport planning, and Certification\acceptance process; This course provides the participants with an understanding of the fundamental principles of heliport design according to the international civil aviation organization regulations.
  • Understand the description; applicability of Annex 14 V II to the International Civil Aviation Chicago convention
  • Implement Annex 14 specifications related to surface-level heliports and elevated heliports.
  • Gain knowledge on how to configure, dimension, and design the fundamental infrastructure elements of these types of heliports.
  • Understand and define the heliports certification/acceptance process
