Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Training
Introduction
- This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to normalize and understand the proper reaction to incident stress and improves the participants ability to manage how/when to reach for more help. The course also deals with the steps of a Critical Incident Debriefing as endorsed by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and management.
Objectives
Upon successfully passing the course , participants will be able:
- To understand crisis management processes and critical Incident concepts
- Be oriented to practical tools and strategies for critical incident stress interventions
- React to typical stresses and their effects
